Kate Beaton...oh how her comics make me, and my brother, laugh. It was Kevin who introduced me to her work January 6th 2009 (according to MSN chat history/my research) It amused me too. And on my recent trip to Toronto for the CONTACT festival, I took a few hours of Christine-time and went with Kate to the Campbell House to take photos, just for kicks.

We were shown how bread was made with the heat of a fire, got in trouble for sitting on a table, saw a miniature and inaccurate courtroom scene, Mike Robinson's daguerreotypes exhibit and how to make homemade ice cream. It was fun and Kate is adorable.
