The 1 Degree of Robert Pattinson

My lovely lovely friend Adaline just alerted me to the fact that a photo of mine just went international...haha

This amazing girl's life has exploded after crazy press on her encounter with Robert Pattinson (well deserved press) and E! Tv's "Daily 10" (which give 10 entertainment headlines) featured the whole thing.

The photo they used was from the Prettiest Face In Town's show that I shot. (I love all of them).

Updatage

I've been busy and I've been lazy... those are my excuses for not updating.

I was busy with this: www.mariettesmith.ca
Creating a website for Mariette's new project, which I can only describe as "Life Enhancement" as it is so many things. If you have emotional problems and don't want to just talk about them, it might be something for you... I think... I still don't fully get it yet.

Anyways...Other exciting things?
-I shot for FASHION magazine. I think it will be in the April issue... so I will have the tearsheet for you next month.
-I have shot 4 shows in the last month: Hey Ocean, Adaline, Maurice and just the other day The Big Makeout (pictures will be below)
-I have been booking weddings with Bonnie & Clyde, so click here if you need photographers!
-Jon and I did a photobooth for his little brother and sister's birthday party... check them out here: Mishak & Camille
-I am still going to redesign my website, but that where the 'lazy' thing kicks in often.

Three Hours with The Prettiest Face In Town

A good friend (Nat Jay) and three new friends (adaline, Adrian Glynn and Cory Woodward) have combined themselves to form The Prettiest Face In Town.

This is how they describe the band: In an exciting alliance, four of the West Coast’s top emerging singer/songwriters combine forces to provide the audience with a magically collaborative experience. Individually, Nat Jay, Cory Woodward, Adaline and Adrian Glynn have engaged listeners around the world with their recently released albums. Together, The Prettiest Face In Town will win over music fans at Folk Festivals across Canada in 2009.

They had a concert at the Media Club on the 7th, and I have to say, it was the best Sunday Night I've had in a long time. The put out couches and pillows and blankets to sit on the floor, decked out the stage with moody lights and lamps, and had the crowd laughing, clapping and giving standing ovations. I am very excited that I will be shooting their promo photos soon.
