Back in May I got the chance, nay the privilege, to join a small group of people at b.b gun leather in East Van for an intimate concert and recording with Josh Tillman aka Father John Misty. Obviously I had to take some photos..
Recently the cover FJM did of Arcade Fire’s “The Suburbs” was released and shared a LOT (it was even on Rolling Stone’s website) and CBC Music has just released the rest of the session and it’s pretty perfect to listen to over your morning beverage of choice.

So I couldn’t get the trailer to embed without autoplaying, and I wouldn’t do that to you guys, so click here if you want to see it.
Above is one of the uploads from YouTube. I can’t find it streaming anywhere else online, and because we don’t get the Hallmark channel here in Canada, I guess this is the best I can do!
I’ve got it loaded up to the end scene where some of my photos are panned over on when they walk in, and then I’m in it a few times.

Weddings are changing so much these days, with couples eloping, or having small destination weddings and then receptions at home. (Which I think is great!)
I was delighted when Cheryl & Phil asked me to photograph their wedding celebration in Vancouver in May. They had beautiful photos from their ceremony in Italy up on the walls of the Terminal City Club, which looked amazing - I was jealous, and the intimate and fun cocktail party had such a great vibe going.
With lots of familiar faces in the crowd, I had a blast with these two and their friends. Congrats on wrapping the whole adventure up and cheers to a lifetime of love you two!
