When shooting band promo photos in the past, the images have gone all sorts of places, including local newspapers.

Never would I have guessed that a photo I took of a friend on stage, that they then made their profile photo, would lead to a similar thing.

That said, here’s my photo of Dave Thiel from the band For Esme in The Dryden Observer.

I went to Burgoo to take the photo of Dan Mangan’s pick, and most definitely ate the meal afterward. It was tasty!

So much lady power this week via a few shows I photographed for Exclaim.
Two female bands/artists at the Imperial: Warpaint, and Laura Marling, and two female writers from Vancouver reviewed the shows, and me of course.

Makes me very happy.
