Here are a few shots of my beautiful friends Jeff & Amy from their wedding in September at the Vancouver Rowing Club.

Shooting the weddings of people I know (and have photographed before) always feels amazing and I’m lucky to be part of their day.

…working on their slideshow today, so keep an eye out for that soon!

Back in September of 2010, when my family moved into a different home, I went for a walk in our yard. The amount of different kinds of trees that we have in a our acreage is pretty astounding.

I miss being able to go to Ontario for fall and see the yard as it changes…so I decided to revisit these photos from three years back…where I paired up similar leaves from the same family…

Enjoy my nature nerd-out, and happy fall.

Here are a few shots that didn’t make the cut for the VanMag article (see previous post)…I ended up shooting 27 items total, and they chose the 25.

The third shot is from the same restaurant as the jagerschnitzel in the 2nd shot: Jagerhog. The people were great, the chef was hilarious, and the decor was awesome. I would kill to do a shoot in there again one day.

Also, now I’m hungry…because I ate that chicken schwarma wrap after I shot it, and it was damn good.

The October issue of Vancouver Magazine is out and I can finally share what I was up to in August!…namely taking photos of some delicious foods.

Around The World In 25 Plates showcases dishes from all over Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

I got to try a LOT of these and let me tell you, they are worth the trip to these places. I’m still full remembering all of them. Check out the issue on newsstands now, or online right here.
